- If you manually upload a profile picture or edit your display name, we store this as part of your account information.

MindSmiles allows you to log and reflect on your emotions. Check-In Data may include:

- If enabled, location data associated with your check-in.
AI Features
MindSmiles offers AI-powered features to help guide self-reflection. If you use these features, your Check-In Data may be processed through OpenAI to generate personalized responses. Use of AI features is entirely optional. See the supplementary notice below for details.
Survey Data
We collect any information you provide when completing surveys within the app.
Support Communications
If you contact us for support, we collect information from your messages to assist with your inquiry.

- If you activate AI features, we process your recorded emotions, tags, and journal reflections through OpenAI.
- We do not share voice memos, photos, or personal identifiers with AI models.
B. Who We Share It With
- OpenAI processes data for AI features but does not retain any data permanently.
C. Your Choices
- AI features are optional and can be disabled at any time.
6. How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain user data only as long as necessary to:
- Provide the MindSmiles service.
- Comply with legal requirements.
If you delete your account, your Check-In Data is permanently removed within a commercially reasonable period.
